With an extraordinary commitment to promoting equality and well-being of people with disabilities, the Golden Eagle Foundation organized a special event today, gathering key figures from the institutional and social spheres.
This activity was attended by prominent personalities such as the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari, MP Enver Hoxhaj, as well as the mayors of the municipalities of Lipjan and Suhareka, Mr. Imri Ahmeti and Mr. Bali Muharremaj.
The activities included a visit to the “Freesia” factory in Lipjan, an inspiring example of the inclusion and empowerment of people with disabilities in the labor market. During this visit, MP Enver Hoxhaj gave an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of creating an inclusive and fair society for all – while Minister Rozeta Hajdari said that this event is an opportunity to see the talent of people with disabilities beyond prejudice.
As part of the event, an exhibition of artistic works by people with disabilities was also organized, where prizes were awarded to participating artists.
The Golden Eagle Foundation has also supported the AstroVire Association with 10,000 euros for a project that empowers children with disabilities, especially deaf-mute children, by training them in programming languages for a better future.
Fisnik Kryeziu, representative of the Foundation, emphasized that for 2025, investments of 1 million euros are planned for the advancement of paper production lines at the “Freesia” factory, thus creating new opportunities for people with disabilities and increasing the economic and social impact of this sector.
